Deep tissue is much more than “firm pressure.” This type of massage is best for specific injuries or pains. A more focused and detailed approach is used to help get to the source of the pain with the goal of releasing tension and pain patterns. A detailed consult will help address all your concerns and session goals. Therapeutic modalities including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and/or stretching may be used throughout session. Analgesic cream will be applied at the end of massage to aid in healing and reduce possible muscle soreness.
